Dr. Cornetta was born and raised in North Attleboro, MA. He earned his undergraduate degree Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut. He completed his dental training at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he earned his doctor of dental surgery degree (DDS).
While at the University of Maryland, Dr. Cornetta earned membership into the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society recognizing outstanding academic performance in fixed prosthodontics, removable prosthodontics, and operative dentistry. He was also selected for the Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery Clerkship where he had advanced clinical training in oral surgery.
Dr. Cornetta is energetic, well trained, and enthusiastic about providing high quality care to each of his patients. His favorite part of dentistry is the satisfaction he derives from transforming someone’s smile and making them truly feel better about themselves. He donates his time and dental services at the Rhode Island Mission of Mercy. Dr. Cornetta is also a huge proponent for the Special Olympics where he is a coach and mentor for the Lincoln North Stars.
Dr. Cornetta is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He and his wife Molly reside in Providence, RI. They enjoy the beach, hiking and skiing, kayaking, and all Boston sports!
